About Our Company

Happy Earth Automotive Center strives to make environmentally friendly fuels and automobiles available to the Philadelphia area. Growing concern over the environment, global warming, national security and economic issues caused by a large trade deficit have caused many to look for non-traditional fuels and methods of transportation. By selling both biodiesel fuel and vehicles specifically fitted to operate on biodiesel fuel, we hope to fill this need for fellow Philadelphians.

Happy Earth Automotive Center was founded by Seth Weiss, a native of Philadelphia. Seth’s concern for the environment and interest in cars led him to the decision to found an alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicle business.  His experience living in Europe, where fuel is considerably more expensive and Diesel automobiles far more popular, along with a recent trip to Seattle, where the American biodiesel market is more fully developed, triggered his interest specifically in biodiesel.
